Harry Chadwick Jr.
BELMONT - Mr. Harry Chadwick, Jr., 82, of Magnolia Drive,
died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Lakes Region General Hospital in
Born in Wolfeboro on Oct. 22, 1928, Harry was the son of Harry and
Carolyn (Bordeau) Chadwick Sr.
He and his wife had lived in Laconia, Tilton
and Suncook for many years before retiring to Belmont in 2003.
He had worked
for almost 25 years at General Electric, going from toolmaker to supervisor of
Tool & Design. He'd also been employed as a machinist for Scott &
Williams in Laconia for 11 years.
One of his favorite pastimes was
Harry was the widower of Patricia (Lacasse) Chadwick, who died
in 2009, and to whom he had been married for 59 years. He is survived by five
children, Linda Paquette of Lakeport, Steven Chadwick of Gilford, Michael
Chadwick and his wife Karen of Warner, Debra Poisson and her husband David of
Hooksett, and Timothy Chadwick and his wife Robyn of Pembroke; 12 grandchildren;
numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Harry was
predeceased by his sister Jeannette Copp.
Graveside services will be on
Saturday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. at the Old Riverside Cemetery in Alton.
